One day, I noticed that bananas were disappearing from my desk at work. I would often buy them for lunch and sometimes not eat them, leaving them on my desk to have for breakfast the next morning. But when I came back in the morning, the banana would usually be gone. Had I lost my mind? Were my coworkers eating them? Stealing them as a joke? Was the nighttime cleanup crew tossing them? I didn’t make a big deal out of it—after all, they were just bananas. (more…)
